Mediware® and CoverMyMeds Announce New Electronic Prior Authorization Partnership

Through the integration of Mediware’s CareTend pharmacy software and CoverMyMeds, pharmacists can quickly process requests, receive determinations and ultimately fill prescriptions faster for any medication and all health plans through electronic data exchange.

Data indicates pharmacists spend an average of 5 hours per week on PA, largely due to the paper forms, faxes and phone calls traditionally required to process requests.
