What should I do if a new employee is taking over my PA responsibilities?

As PA responsibilities shift in the office, there are two ways to transition the new employee into the workflow.

Option 1: If you deem it acceptable for the new employee to have access to the protected health information (PHI) contained in the account, you may update the contact details of the existing account. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your existing CoverMyMeds account.
  2. Click “Your Preferences” at the top of the page.
  3. Update the information on this page to reflect that of the new employee and have the new employee enter a new password, then click “Save and Return to Dashboard.”

Option 2: If you do not want to give the new employee access to the PHI contained in the old account, have them create a new account and verify the prescribers that they will be completing PA requests for.
